I did a little shopping today for supplies then I came home and did a little project I had in mind for my bestie Angie.
I just recently learned how to crochet. It all started when Angie was recreating some crochet covered balls we saw on our trip to Berlin. Once she got a set done and I saw how amazing they turned out I knrew I had to learn... So I talked my mom into teaching me. I havent gotten good at more than a single row yet. But I wanted to make a little something with what I had crocheted so far.
I decided I was going to make a candle mat with it, since I cant do more than a single row this is what I came up with.... I took a peice of felt and cut it into the size and shape I wanted then started on the outside hot glueing the yarn all the way around as I went....
I'm happy with the finished project
Here are a few pics from start to finish
