Happy Sunday Morning....

Hope everyone is doing well. We're just getting ready for the holidays. I have so much fudge to make. Its always in "High Demand" especially around the Holiday.

I thought I would share this tried and true recipe. I originally got the recipe off the back of a jar of jet puffed marshmallow creme then I tweaked it over the last couple years just a lil in the chip department...LOL...

Hope you enjoy....

This recipe is for Mint Chocolate Fudge (my latest creation...LOL)

In the recipe where it calls for baking chips you can change the type of chips to change the type of fudge. For example I use all reeses pb chips for my Peanut Butter fudge, or half chocolate chips and half pb chips for my chocolate pb fudge. I also make one with half pb and half butterscotch chips... its a big hit... You can mix and match all kinds of flavors just always use 3 Cups of Chips total.

What you'll need.....

3 Cups of Sugar
3/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
5oz (about 2/3 cup) of Evaporated Milk
2 Cups of Toll House Dark Chocolate & Mint Chips
1 Cup of Chocolate Chips
1 jar of kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme
1 tsp of vanilla
Foil
Cooking spray
pan of choice ( i use lots of different ones)

Directions:

Line pan with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray
Bring Sugar, Milk and butter for a rolling boil. Boil for 4min stirring constantly.
Remove from Heat stir in marshmallow cream, stir until its all melted. Then add all chips. You will need to stir quickly. Mix until all chips are melted. Stir in vanilla and pour into pan. Let cool completely. ENJOY!

Chilly, Snowy Weekend Ahead...

There calling for 1-3" of snow tomorrow... Sounds like a perfect weekend to stay in listen to Christmas music, drink hot cocoa and craft away.

I dried oranges for the first time a couple nights ago. I love the way they came out. Planning on using some in with rosehips and also using them on a tree in my kitchen... (as soon as I get one :o) Im on the hunt)

I'd like to dry some more oranges and apples this weekend. Do some sewing. Maybe even try my hand at making sugar cones.

I'll be sure to blog about my weekend and post lots of pics so you can see what I end up with....

Hope everyone stays warm and safe this weekend.

Talk to you again soon.

All Moved In...

Its been a long road.... But were finally all moved in and unpacked!
I finally feel like I'm HOME... its been a long time coming.

Hope to be able to devote a little more time to my blog. I started it and then haven't really had the time or the motivation to do much with it :o(

Now that I'm all moved in and have my own craft room... (even though its a little on the small side in comparison to some other craft rooms) I'm really looking forward to my getting some Christmas crafting done. Some goodies for me and presents for others....

Anyway just wanted to give everyone a little up date on where I've been and how things have been going. Hope to start Blogging my heart out after Turkey Day this week ;o)

Preparing for the Move....

Pack Pack Pack...

Getting prepared for the move to a new home.... Exciting and Scary at the same time.

We've decided to find a new home with my mom and her leave her current house and us leave ours and combined our households.... Its really going to benefit us both in the long run.

Now I just have to turn her on to Prims... She says she likes my decor and my house always looks great but just not what she would choose... I'm going to fix that!

I'm finally going to get my own crafting area. Which I'm very much looking forward to. I'm looking forward to having my own space I think that will make me want to craft even more.

I have a couple craft project in the works. My mom gave me a bench that I'm going to paint and prim up for our new enclosed porch. Its a bench with storage so figure I can put on the porch by the door and kids can kick off there shoes and throw them in as they come in the door.

I'm going to post before pics and will post after pics later.

Getting my crafty back....

Over the last two years I kind of lost my mojo to craft. Had so much going on in my life I kind of lost the desire to do one of the things that made me most happy.

But.... after an amazing weekend in Berlin,OH with one of my best girlfriends Angie and a group of amazing prim sisters from APJ I think I found my desire to craft again.

Every since our trip to Berlin my wheels have been turning. Have so many thoughts and ideas in the works. Angie taught me a lil something when she was here this is a pic of my first shot at it.

Hoping to get to blog a lil more often. Thanks to the gals that have joined my blog :0)

Happy Saturday

New to the blogging world but thought I would give it a shot...

Spent today cleaning and rearranging somethings around the house. Counting down the days till one on my Besties drives in from NC for the APJ Community Gathering. Were going to have so much fun... Gonna shop till we drop. 13 days to go!!!!

More plans in the works for tomorrow, more cleaning, decluttering and rearranging. Really trying to get better about cutting out the un-needed clutter to make space for things I really love.
