Happy Tuesday

It's a Rainy Tuesday here in Ohio but at least its not super cold 37 out right now......

Kids are eating breakfast then its off to school for them and off to the craft room for me.... Hoping to get some things done today. WHAT? I'm not exactly sure yet... ;o) I have lots of things that are unfinished that I need to work, have some new things I would like to start and I'm in two swaps that I need to work on as well.

So hopefully I can stay motivated and share some pics of finished projects later....

Todays project.....

I did a little shopping today for supplies then I came home and did a little project I had in mind for my bestie Angie.

I just recently learned how to crochet. It all started when Angie was recreating some crochet covered balls we saw on our trip to Berlin. Once she got a set done and I saw how amazing they turned out I knrew I had to learn... So I talked my mom into teaching me. I havent gotten good at more than a single row yet. But I wanted to make a little something with what I had crocheted so far.

I decided I was going to make a candle mat with it, since I cant do more than a single row this is what I came up with.... I took a peice of felt and cut it into the size and shape I wanted then started on the outside hot glueing the yarn all the way around as I went....

I'm happy with the finished project

Here are a few pics from start to finish

Loving My Newly Painted Kitchen

I'm loving the new mustard color on my kitchen walls. Has me in the mood to craft and do a little redecorating.

Just wanted to share a few pictures of the new wall color.

Winter break has come to an end for the kids, its back to school tomorrow. Which means I should be able to get some much needed house work and crafting done.

Talk to you again soon.
